Use this calculator to estimate your Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) score. Enter your performance for each event below.
The Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) is a comprehensive assessment of a soldier's physical fitness. Calculating the ACFT score involves evaluating performance across six different events and converting raw scores into points.
The ACFT score is calculated by summing the points earned in each of the six events:
$$\text{ACFT Score} = \sum_{i=1}^{6} \text{Event Score}_i$$
Where:
Let's calculate the ACFT score for a soldier with the following performance:
Step 1: Convert raw scores to points (using simplified formulas)
Deadlift: $$\min(100, \max(0, \frac{300 - 140}{3})) = 53.33 \text{ points}$$
Power Throw: $$\min(100, \max(0, (10.0 - 4.5) \times 20)) = 100 \text{ points}$$
Push-ups: $$\min(100, \max(0, 40 \times 2)) = 80 \text{ points}$$
Sprint-Drag-Carry: $$\min(100, \max(0, (240 - 120) \times 0.5)) = 60 \text{ points}$$
Leg Tuck: $$\min(100, \max(0, 10 \times 5)) = 50 \text{ points}$$
2-Mile Run: $$\min(100, \max(0, (1200 - 900) \times 0.1)) = 30 \text{ points}$$
Step 2: Sum the points from all events
$$\begin{align} \text{Total ACFT Score} &= 53.33 + 100 + 80 + 60 + 50 + 30 \\ &= 373.33 \text{ points} \end{align}$$
Therefore, this soldier's estimated ACFT score is 373 points (rounded to the nearest whole number).
This radar chart illustrates the scores for each event in our ACFT example calculation. The chart provides a visual representation of the soldier's performance across all six events, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
